Drove two hours up to Scottsdale on a beautiful, sunny Sunday. In North Scottsdale is one of Frank Lloyd Wright's homes, Taliesen West. It was built in the 1930s. The tour was very interesting and the home is in the desert. Back when he built it, the house was really in the middle of nowhere, but now it's close to other neighborhoods.
All the glass art is Dale Chihuly's and it will only be there for six months.
The tour sells out every day and it was very interesting to learn about FLW and his buildings.
Then a quick stroll through Old Town Scottsdale which still has several original buildings from the early 1920s.
